"The Bridge" is the 4th Album release and 2nd Studio Album by Ace of Base released World-Wide on October 27 , 1995. This release has mainly 2 different editions the European and American editions, the European edition contains "You and I" and 2 Version of "Lucky Love" the Original Version and the Acoustic Version, while the American Edition only includes "Lucky Love" Acoustic Version. For the release of "The Bridge" the single "Lucky Love" was release first in Europe and the single "Beautiful Life" was released as the first single in the USA simultaneously. "Lucky Love" was the second American single and Arista selected the "Acoustic Version" would be the official version for America and contained its own video. When production of The Bridge began Mega Records had submitted the non Refined Version of "Strange Ways", "My Deja Vu" & "Whispers In Blindness" and were used to manufacture millions of copys before they caught these. "Refined Versions" were corrected and added to later released for Scandinavia, German & Frence Editions. UK and Americans Editions all used the Refined editions. This was the first album where all 4 band memebers were involced in writing for the album. The Bridge was also the last album that Ace of Base would work with major Swedish pop producer Max Martin. Selling an estimated 7 million copies worldwide. Spanning 3 singles all around the world; "Beautiful Life", "Lucky Love" and "Never Gonna Say I'm Sorry", promotional single of "My Deja Vu" released in Scandinavia and France, and a Promo for "Angel Eyes" in 1998 was edited on a "Flowers" Hong Kong Edition.
