During the period of late 2008/2009 as Ace of Base sot to obtain a record deal as a trio with only Jenny, Jonas & Ulf and the record labels pushing back the idea of a trio and deals getting stalled, Jenny Berggren began to work on some of her own material on the side while things sorted out with the record lables. The material worked on grew to become considered for an Album and Jenny reveled to the Jonas & Ulf that she planned on releasing a first solo album the boys surprised by Jenny's move, moved on to the idea of using 2 new singer for the new material Ulf & Jonas had been working on and presented this to the record labels and landed a record deal that excluded Jenny. After this move Jenny focused 100% to her projects and the release of her first solo album. On New Years of 2010 Jenny releases a first song for a free download of her Official Website the song titled "Free Me" as promotion for the upcoming album, a remix of the song would later be included on the album. May 12th 2010 Jenny releases her first official commercial single of "Here I Am" a CD Single is released to Scandinavia and available aslo on Itunes and reaches the #14th spot on Swedish Charts. September 15th 2010 a second single is released titled "Gotta Go" only for Digital download of Itunes. October 13th 2010 Jenny Berggren releases her first solo album titled "My Story" in Sweden under the label "Ipono Productions" and distributed by "Universal Music" with 14 tracks and included a Christian song written by Jenny in here youth titled "Give Me The Faith".
